42 new cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 were detected in Khanh Hoa Province from 7am to 4pm on July 11, according to Khanh Hoa Center for Disease Control. The new cases include 28 in Ninh Hoa Town, 10 in Nha Trang City, 3 in Van Ninh and 1 in Cam Lam. 9 of the cases are in locked-down areas, 30 in centralized quarantine areas and 3 in the community.
The new cases have been isolated and transferred to hospital for treatment. Local authorities have conducted epidemiological investigation, contact tracing, disinfection to contain the coronavirus.
As many as 277 cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 have been recorded in Khanh Hoa since June 23. 2,783 F1 have been put under centralized quarantine and 5,616 F2 have been home quarantined. 64 areas related to the positive cases have been temporarily locked down.
1,246 samples have been taken for RT-PCR testing and 2,881 others for rapid diagnostic testing in Khanh Hoa Province today.
