17 new cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 were detected in Khanh Hoa Province from 4pm to 7am on July 13, according to Khanh Hoa Center for Disease Control. The new cases include 8 in Ninh Hoa Town, 5 in Nha Trang City and 4 in Cam Lam. 10 of these are recorded in the community and others are in locked-down and quarantine areas.
306 cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 have been reported in Khanh Hoa since June 23. Infections have been detected in 6/9 districts and towns, including Ninh Hoa Town with the most cases (187), followed by Nha Trang City (95), Van Ninh District (11), Cam Lam District (10), Cam Ranh City (2) and Dien Khanh District (1). 29,930 samples have been taken for RT-PCR testing and 37,248 others for rapid diagnostic testing in Khanh Hoa Province. 85 areas related to the positive cases have been temporarily blockaded.
