Nguyen Tan Tuan, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee issued an urgent telegram on the afternoon of July 8 on the implementation of Covid-19 control and prevention measures in Khanh Hoa Province in the current situation.
Accordingly, Nha Trang City, Ninh Hoa Town and Van Ninh District will begin 14-day social distancing under the Prime Minister’s Directive 16/CT-TTg dated March 31, 2020; and the remaining districts and towns, namely Dien Khanh, Cam Lam, Khanh Son, Khanh Vinh and Cam Ranh will be under the Prime Minister’s Directive 15/CT-TTg dated March 27, 2020 from July 9.

Under Directive No. 16, people in Nha Trang, Van Ninh and Ninh Hoa are required to remain home and only go out if really necessary. People are required to keep a distance of at least two meters from others in public places. The directive bans the gathering of more than two people outside public offices, schools, hospitals and public places; and suspend public passsenger transport service.
Factories, production facilities, traffic work, construction; essential service establishments, banks, the State treasury; establishments providing services directly related to banking activities and supporting businesses; securities, postal and telecommunications; supporting services for transportation, import and export of goods, medical examination and treatment; and funeral service are allowed to continue operating but in compliance the Ministry of Health’s “5K” instructions.
Under Directive No. 15, Dien Khanh, Cam Lam, Khanh Son, Khanh Vinh and Cam Ranh are required to suspend events and meetings with more than 20 participants; gathering of 10 people and more outside public offices, schools and hospitals. People must keep a distance of at least two meters away from others in public places
