Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and Fatherland Front Committee held a meeting on June 18 with news agencies, representative offices and permanent resident journalists in Khanh Hoa Province on the occasion of the 96th Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day. Present at the event were Nguyen Hai Ninh, Central Party Committee Member, Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Tan Tuan, Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; Ha Quoc Tri, Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee; Ho Van Mung, Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Head of Provincial Department of Propaganda & Training; Tran Ngoc Thanh, Chairman of Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Head of Provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilization; Le Huu Hoang, Permanent Vice-Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee; Dinh Van Thieu, Vice-Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee; and leaders of local departments, agencies and organizations.

There are 300 members of Vietnam Journalists’ Association and journalists of news agencies located in the province, contributing promoting the tourist destination of Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa at home and abroad;  reflecting socio-economic development in Khanh Hoa as well as fighting against evils.
 
At the meeting, Nguyen Tan Tuan highly appraised journalists’ contribution. The press has become an important informative channel, helping provincial leaders to further fulfill their management. He also provided information about some major issues, including Covid-19 vaccination, local economic recovery and provincial key planning. He also requested Khanh Hoa Journalists’ Association and relevant agencies to provide consultancy for provincial leaders to keep more contacts with journalists in the coming time. .
