Nearly 20,600 people have been vaccinated against Covid-19 in the third vaccination phase, according to Khanh Hoa Center for Disease Control.
They include more than 20,570 receiving the first shot and the others getting the second one. The priority groups under the Prime Minister’s Resolution No.21 include medical staff at the public and private health care facilities, commune-level pandemic control steering board members, community-based anti-Covid-19 group members, journalists, essential service workers; teachers and those working at education and training facilities, those who work at State agencies and have regular contact with many others; police and military forces. Earlier, 2 vaccination phases took place in March and May with 9,250 shots in Khanh Hoa Province.

Nearly 4,270 people from epidemic areas are under management or isolation. They include 75 under centralized quarantine and over 2,060 under home quarantine; and others are self-monitoring for Covid-19.
Besides, 2,150 citizens, experts and crew from abroad are under centralized quarantine at military facilities and accommodation establishments; 8 Covid-19 patients from abroad are being isolated and treated at medical facilities.
