Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee issued an urgent official document on May 11 on boosting Covid-19 prevention and control in a new situation.

Accordingly, the Provincial People’s Committee directed local relevant departments, agencies and organizations, People’s Committees of districts and towns to continue  implementing Covid-19 prevention and control measures, meeting dual goals: keeping safe and promoting socio-economic growth; making supplements to the official document No. 2 dated May 31, 2021 by the Chairman of provincial People’s Committee.

Specifically, from June 13, indoor sporting activities, including gym, fitness, billiards, yoga, etc. are allowed to reopen in compliance with the Ministry of Health’s “5K” guidelines and recommendation. As for religious activities, only traditional rituals are permitted (no festive activities) for preventing Covid-19 spread.

Residents are required to avoid public gatherings outside schools, hospitals and workplaces; follow 5K measures and maintain distance at least 1m apart from others; and only to leave home when necessary. Restaurants and dining premises are required to maintain safe distances of at least 1m between tables and ensure safety measures against the pandemic.

Essential meetings with mass gatherings must be in compliance with the Ministry of Health’s “5K” guidelines and recommendation. Public transportation is required to follow current instructions and regulations of the Ministry of Transport.
