Khanh Hoa Provincial Comrade Associate at all levels and Khanh Hoa Children’s House have organized several helpful activities committed to promoting child care and skill development.
Variety of playgrounds
Khanh Hoa Children’s House opens 4 skill courses for 10,000 children on average every year. The courses are in English, chess, martial arts, aerobics, handwriting, musical instruments, dancing, arts, badminton, football, summer camp, life skills, etc.
Khanh Hoa Children’s House organizes many festivals and competitions for kids across the province to take part in and have fun. Yearly events include singing and dancing competitions, sporting festivals, etc. for Children’s Houses, according to Nguyen Phuong Doanh, Director of Khanh Hoa Children’s House.
Every year, Khanh Hoa Comrade Associate in cooperation with Khanh Hoa Department of Education & Training opens training courses for 120 commanders of Young Pioneer detachments and jointly with other agencies, organizes children’s forums. Since 2017, the Provincial Comrade Associate has implemented the model “creative experiences during break time” for kids to have fun, promote physical health and improve skills though the models namely “vegetable garden”, “tourism school”, group dance on the playground, etc, according to Truong Tan Hung, Standing Vice-Secretary of Khanh Hoa Youth Union, Chairman of Provincial Comrade Associate.

Improving childcare
Last year, Khanh Hoa Youth Union and Comrade Associate directed units to implement 183 constructions for children, provide assistance totaling more than VND3.5 billion for 21,864 kids; donated 30 bikes, 200 bottles of tonic, 1,100kg of rice, learning items and so on to members of 12 Young Pioneer detachments at primary and secondary schools in the 2 districts of Khanh Son and Khanh Vinh; and Diep Son Island (Van Ninh District). In response to the Action Month for Children 2020, the Provincial Youth Union and Comrade Associate at all levels offered more than 40,000 glasses of milk to more than 8,400 disadvantaged children. The Provincial Comrade Associate also donated 10 water purifiers and 10 sets of Covid-19 prevention devices to 12 schools.
The Provincial Youth Union and Comrade Associate at all levels have also fulfilled child and teen education responsibilities through building strong organizations; praising and rewarding out-standing members and children winning prizes in competitions, contributing to motivating students to try harder.
The Provincial Youth Union and Comrade Associate at all levels built 4 houses and 12 bookshelves for the needy; 18 amusement areas and provided aid totaling over VND4.8 for 8,343 kids in need within the first 6 months.
The Provincial Comrade Associate will continue effectively implementing campaigns and creating effective playgrounds to help kids develop skills, and provide care and support for the needy to overcome difficulties in life. The Provincial Youth Union and Comrade Associate at all levels will construct and repair amusement areas for kids.
