Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee issued an urgent official document on May 11 on boosting Covid-19 prevention and control in a new situation.
Accordingly, all non-essential service businesses and premises, including bars, pubs; spa, massage service, karaoke parlors and discotheques, computer game premises are ordered to close as from May 12 over Covid-19 fears. Sporting competitions; cultural and art programs, fair, wedding parties, fairs and other events with mass gatherings are suspended until further notice.
For religious activities, only traditional rituals are allowed (no festive activities) for preventing Covid-19 spread. Essential meetings with mass gatherings must be in compliance with the Ministry of Health’s “5K” guidelines and recommendation.
All localities, agencies and businesses in the province must urgently make Covid-19 response schemes. Businesses, industrial zones, factories, enterprises, apartments and workplaces are required to comply with Covid-19 prevention and control measures.
