Workshop on frankincense and essential oil development methods

Khanh Hoa University in cooperation with Vietnam Association of Essential Oil, Aromatherapy & Cosmetics held a workshop on frankincense and essential oil development methods in Southern Central Region and Highland till 2025 on April 23.

 

At the workshop, representatives of enterprises and agencies operating in the fields of essential oil, aromatherapy and medicinal herbs nationwide together with staff, lecturers and students of Analytical Chemistry at Khanh Hoa University discussed and listened to presentations on the current essential oil and frankincense market in Vietnam; solutions to develop aromatherapy and essential oil in Vietnam; cultivation of essential oil in Vietnam; distinguishing between natural frankincense and artificial products.

 

 

 

 

The event was to provide opportunities for scientists, businesses and growers of essential oil, aromatherapy and medicinal plants to exchange experience; promote cohesion and bring research results into practice, boosting frankincense, essential oil and medicinal herb industries.
