According to Chau Ngo Anh Nhan, Director of the Provincial Development Project Management Board, the total revoked land for the project is approximately 12ha.  2 main work items include a 2.3km route (a main road, 1.9km, from Ha Ra Bridge to the Ring Road 2 and a spur route, 0.4km, from the road No.30 according to a 1/500 detailed planning of the residential area along the southern Cai River bank to the saltwater intrusion prevention dam); a gravity embankment, 1.9km, with the beginning point adjacent to Ha Ra Bridge and the end point adjacent to the downstream of the seawater prevention dam embankment. In addition, the work also includes a park and green space to the south of the road and embankments along the banks of the Cai River Nha Trang.

Reportedly, the Southern Cai River embankment and road project has 297 households affected with relatively high site clearance compensation required. Through preliminary determination, the Provincial Development Project Management Board estimated that there are 156 households eligible for resettlement expected to be located in Ngoc Hiep Resettlement Area. The Provincial People's Committee has directed Nha Trang City People's Committee, departments and agencies to focus resources on urgently accelerating the site clearance work to meet the project schedule.

Nha Trang City People’s Committee has issued notices to revoke 11.6ha of land. The Provincial Land Fund Development Center is cooperating with the People's Committees of Van Thang Ward and Ngoc Hiep Ward to give instructions to households and individuals to fill and submit declaration forms as required. To speed up the site clearance, the People's Committee of Ngoc Hiep Ward and Van Thang Ward are proactively implementing the inventory, measurement, compensation and land acquisition. Accordingly, the People's Committee of Van Thang Ward has just announced the implementation of cadastral measurement and mapping for compensation support and resettlement for the project. Earlier, Van Thang Ward had had a meeting with residents to announce the land acquisition notice by Nha Trang City People's Committee.

Nguyen Thi Ngoc Tuyet, Chairperson of Van Thang Ward People's Committee said that many households are affected by the project, so the propaganda and land measurement are concentrated in the first months of the year. The ward has publicly posted up land acquisition policies and documents related to the project implementation; explained and urged affected people to prepare compensation dossiers. The ward will coordinate with the investor and working group to soon confirm the land and property subject compulsory acquisition; support compensation payment and resettlement for those whose land are revoked, helping to facilitate the site clearance for the project.
