Tien Phong Newspaper in association with Khanh Hoa Steering Board for Blood Donation and the Navy Academy held the 13th "Red Sunday" 2021 on January 9. Present at the event were Nguyen Khac Toan, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Vice-Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee; and Dinh Van Thieu, Vice-Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
The Red Sunday was the highlight of the blood donation campaign during the Lunar New Year and Red Spring 2021 launched by Khanh Hoa Steering Board for Blood Donation. Themed “Donate blood, save lives. Your life and my life”, the event draw the participation of more than 800 cadres and students of the Navy Academy, giving more than 700 units of blood. Nguyen Khac Toan and leaders of the Navy Academy donated blood at the event.

Speaking at the event, Dinh Van Thieu highly appreciated the Navy Academy’s effort and enthusiasm to the provincial blood donation campaign with more than 1,000 units of blood donated every year to save thousands of lives.
