Nha Trang – Cam Lam expressway is expected to start in the 2nd quarter of 2021, according to Ho Chi Minh Road Project Management Board.
Ho Chi Minh Road Project Management Board has completed the design, building estimation and selection of component investors of the North–South expressway, Nha Trang – Cam Lam section, under the public-private partnership (PPP).
Nha Trang – Cam Lam expressway has just been approved by the Ministry of Transportation with the investor being Son Hai Corporation. The total capital is more than VND5,536 billion, including VND2,556 billion from the investor and VND2,979 billion from the State funding. The construction is expected to last for 2 years and the toll collection will be for 16 years and 3 months.
Nha Trang – Cam Lam expressway, 49km, with the starting point in Dien Tho Commune, Dien Khanh District and the ending point in Cam Thinh Tay Commune, Cam Ranh City is designed to have 6 lanes at the speed of 120km/hour. The speed designed in the first phase is 80km/hour.
