Indian Consul General visits Khanh Hoa

Nguyen Tan Tuan, Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee welcomed Madan Mohan Sethi, Indian Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City on December 16.
 
At the meeting, Nguyen Tan Tuan introduced the province’s investment potentials, focusing on Van Phong; expressed the hope the Indian Consul General would consider the opening of direct fights from Nha Trang to India to boost tourism development between the two partners, and suggested the consulate would introduce Indian businesses to open opportunities for businesses in Khanh Hoa and India to meet, exchange and promote bilateral investment and trade development. Besides, the provincial People's Committee hoped India would provide information about the list of Indian investment projects so that local businesses could promote investment and cooperation in such potential sectors as tourism, information technology, etc.

Madan Mohan Sethi advocated the opening of some flights between Khanh Hoa and Indian cities, facilitating Indian businesses to take tourism survey trips to Vietnam and vice versa. Moreover, the Consul General also suggested strengthening cooperation relationship in tourism, investment, trade, education, culture and sports, adding that India is willing to provide training support for around 1,000 skilled workers free or at low costs with short-term refresher courses free of charge at public schools for medial staff from Khanh Hoa. 
 
On the same day, Madan Mohan Sethi paid a working visit to Khanh Hoa Investment Promotion & Enterprise Support Center, High Technology Agriculture Center and Nha Trang University.
