Storm Etau blew the roofs off more than 16 homes, including 15 in Ninh Phuoc and Ninh Van, Ninh Hoa; and 1 in Suoi Cat, Cam Lam; damaged 2 office buildings in Ninh Hoa; and 3 high-tech net houses, 1,700m2 each, of Suoi Dau Experiment Farm in Suoi Cat, Cam Lam, according to Khanh Hoa Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Search & Rescue.
The storm also caused disruptions to power systems in several places, leading to power cuts in the communes of Van Khanh, Van Long, Van Phuoc, Van Tho and Dai Lanh in Van Ninh District; Khanh Vinh District; and 2 communes of Ninh Van and Ninh Phuoc in Ninh Hoa Town.
