Khanh Hoa People’s Committee has just sent an urgent telegram on Typhoon Molave prevention and control preparedness.
 
Typhoon Molave was at 13.5°N and 122.2°E in the central Phiilippies with maximum sustained wind speeds of 100-135kph (level 11-12) and the gust at level 14 at 1a.m on October 26, according to the Southern & Central Centre for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting.
 
Within the next 24 hours, the storm will head west at 20-25km/hour and will gain strength when reaching the East Sea. It will be 350km north east from the Southwest Cay at 1am on October 27 with max wind at level 12 and gust expected at level 14, 
 
Within the next 24 hours, the risk area is within the 11.0-17.0°N and 114.0-120.0°E with maximum sustained wind speeds of level 6 and gust at level 8. The natural disaster risk level is 3.
