Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee issued an official telegram on Typhoon Molave response preparedness on October 27.
 
Accordingly, local departments and communities are required to follow the official telegram. Members of the provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Search & Rescue are asked to be at assigned places before 3pm on October 27 to cooperate with local authorities in the storm response.
 
The sea ban is imposed from 6pm on October 27 until the storm is over. Fishermen on aquaculture farms and vessels are guided to urgently get ashore; aquaculture farms and vessels are required to get anchored in safe shelters until the storm subsidies.
 
Khanh Hoa has 405 fishing vessels with 2.847 fishermen working in the sea waters of Spratly Islands, Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan – Binh Thuan and southern sea waters. All the fishing vessels have received the storm warnings and had response plans.
