Le Huu Hoang, Vice-Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee led a mission to check prevention and control efforts against Typhoon Molave in Van Ninh District. The leader surveyed high-risk areas at the foot of Ca Pass and the anchorage in Dai Lanh Commune on October 27.
 
27 homes with 108 people at the foot of Ca Pass were ordered to evacuate to safe places and 240 boats to shelter in the sea waters of Dam Mon, estuaries and Cau River, Song Cau Town, Phu Yen Province, according to the leader of Dai Lanh Commune.

There are 1,337 boats, more than 39,000 aquaculture farms and 60 oyster farms in Van Ninh District. 50 high-risk locations with 1,400 residents are expected to be affected by downpours and flash flood. Storm warnings were issued. Residents in high-risk places were urged to evaluate. More than 2,000 working on aquaculture farms were ordered ashore and boats to shelter in safe places. The storm response preparedness in Van Ninh completed at 6pm on October 27.
 
Le Huu Hoang highly appreciated the storm prevention and control efforts in Van Ninh District. All residents in high-risk areas have been evacuated and fishermen have been ordered ashore to safe places to protect properties and life.
