Nguyen Tan Tuan, Vice-Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee checked Typhoon Molave prevention and control in some areas at high risk of landslide and flooding on October 27 in Nha Trang City.
The leader surveyed the site of saltwater intrusion prevention dam over Cai River, the downstream section close to Vinh Phuong bridge foot in Phu Binh Village, Vinh Thanh Commune. The construction is not complete, thus at high risk of landslide. The province has directed the Department of Planning & Investment to review its investment procedures and accelerate the construction to assure safety during rainy seasons.
