The 13th International Conference on Advanced Technologies for Communications opened at the Telecommunications University on October 9.
 
The conference program included tracks, sessions and workshops on such areas as Communications, Networks, Signal Processing, Integrated Circuits and Electronics, Microwave Engineering; and Antennas and Propagation with the participation of hundreds of scientists who are authors of scientific works, reviewers, and co-chairs of subcommittees of the conference.

The conference received 75 scientific reports and works from Vietnam and 16 other countries. Especially, 3 reports from 3 well-known foreign professors, namely Atsushi Kanno, Research Manager, National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT), Japan; Mohammad Tariqul Islam, National University of Malaysia  (UKM); and Koichiro Ishibashi, University of Electro-Communications (UEC), Tokyo, Japan.
 
The conference was held as a combination of in-person (for Vietnamese authors) and virtual meetings (for foreigners) via Zoom Webinar due to COVID-19 impacts.
 
The ATC is an annual conference series co-organized by the Radio & Electronics Association of Vietnam (REV) and the IEEE Communications Society (IEEE ComSoc) in order to gather scientific and technological research contribution; and foster international forum scientific and technological exchange among Vietnamese and worldwide scientists and engineers in the fields of electronics and communications.
