A ceremony to present assistance to the government of Pakse City, Champasak (Laos) for urban embellishment in honor of the 8th Champasak Provincial Party Congress has recently taken place at Bo Y international Border Gate, Kon Tum Province. Present at the event were Secretary, Chairman of Pakse City, Champasak, representatives of Vietnamese Consulate General in Pakse; and leaders of delegates of the provinces of Khanh Hoa, Dak Lak and Binh Duong.
At the ceremony, Duong Nam Khanh, Vice-Director of Khanh Hoa Department of Foreign Affairs on behalf of the Provincial People's Committee presented VND400 million to Pakse city leader. According to the leader of the Department of Foreign Affairs, Khanh Hoa has signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation with Champasak and Attapeu in Laos. The friendly and cooperative relationship between Khanh Hoa Province and Laotian localities has been strengthened and developed through cooperation in mission exchange, education and judicial support, meeting mutual practical demand

Reportedly, representatives of the 2 provinces of Binh Duong and Dak Lak offered VND600 million in support of Pakse City at the ceremony.
