More than 280,000 students at 540 schools in Khanh Hoa Province together with nearly 23 million students nationwide entered the new school year 2020 -2021 on September 5.
This school year is required to fulfill dual goals of containing the pandemic and safely ensuring teaching and learning together with the implementation of new textbooks for the first grade and preparation for the following academic year.
The opening ceremony was simply and solemnly held while disease prevention measures were taken such as wearing face masks, washing hands with sanitizer. Khanh Hoa leaders attended the back-to-school ceremony at some schools.
