Khanh Hoa People’s Committee sent an urgent telegram on September 4 to implement the Government Office’s announcement No. 313 on COVID-19 control and prevention. Khanh Hoa has experienced 28 days with no community transmission of COVID-19. Therefore, Khanh Hoa People’s Committee has decided to lift coronavirus pandemic restrictions in the province to jump-start economies while ensuring pandemic control and prevention.
 
Accordingly, festive, cultural, religious, sporting and entertaining events; and non-essential services are allowed to resume from September 5, upon condition that disease control and prevention measures are taken such as wearing face masks in public, keeping a distance of at least 1m apart from others, washing hands with sanitizer, avoiding large gatherings.

Provincial People's Committee required local departments, organizations, police, Military Headquarters, Provincial Border Guard Command, People's Committees of districts, towns, agencies and related units to fulfill dual goals, socioeconomic development and disease control; promote communication; recommend people to install Bluezone app; continue  implementing the assistance package for those affected by the COVID-19 epidemic; and strictly handle and prevent illegal entry and stay in the province. Particularly, the Department of Health was asked to coordinate with relevant units to regularly update the Ministry of Health’s instructions on COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control in hospitals, schools, workplaces,  on public means of transport; implement disease prevention and control inspection plans; arrange quarantine facilities for travelers entering the country, etc.
