19th Khanh Vinh District Communist Party Congress officially opens

The 19th Khanh Vinh District Communist Party Congress, 2020 - 2025 term, officially opened on August 24. Present at the event were Nguyen Khac Dinh, Central Party Committee Member, Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee Secretary; Nguyen Khac Toan, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Vice-Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; Nguyen Tan Tuan, Vice-Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Ha Quoc Tri, Vice-Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; and more than 170 delegates representing more than 1,500 Party members.

 

In the term 2015 - 2020, the district Communist Party Congress made great effort and fulfilled targets in the Resolution of the 18th District Communist Party Congress. The average annual growth rate was 9.3%/ year. The local economic structure transferred in the right direction with gradual increase in the proportion of industries and service; and drop in the proportion of agriculture, forestry and fishery. The social investment capital in 5 years reached VND1,441 billion, up by 15.46%/ / year. Resources for development were effectively managed, allocated and used. In the term, 430 new Party members were admitted, exceeding the target.

 

 

 

 

In the 2020-2025 term, the district Party Committee focuses on promoting its leadership, ensuring citizens' rights, protecting the solidarity, strengthening the political system to meet required tasks in the new situation; mobilizing and making good use of resources to boost economic growth.

 

The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the town Communist Party, 2020 - 2025 term, with 35 members. Mau Van Phi was voted the district Party Committee Secretary.
