Tipsy Art sessions are open for people of different ages; however, most of the learners are children. Attending these art sessions is a good way to help children to experience an interesting art activity and partly keep them away from electronic devices such as televisions and smart phones. The instructors at Tipsy Art want to help people, especially children, to feel relaxed. Therefore, learners are encouraged to enjoy the process of creating their own paintings and not to put stress on painting techniques.

Learning to live more slowly

The goal of Tipsy Art is bringing art closer to young people and helping people to have relaxing time after school and busy work schedules. According to Le Tu Khieu, an instructor at Nha Trang Tipsy Art, enjoying free time with art activities help to nourish people’s soul and to develop themselves. “We hope that young people can live more slowly, taking time for themselves during Tipsy Art sessions,” Khieu added.

Nguyen Hoai Phuong, 3rd grade pupil at Phuoc Tien, Nha Trang, said “This is the first time I have attended a Tipsy Art session. The instructors are really caring and dedicated. I love coming to this painting class where I can paint and enjoy joyful time.”

Tipsy Art in Nha Trang opened more than one year ago. Many foreign visitors from Malaysia, Japan, England, France, America, etc. have come to experience the art atmosphere at Tipsy Art. Besides children, students, and office staff, numerous old people have also spent their free time at Tipsy Art. Reportedly, some people in their 60s and 70s often take the bus to Tipsy Art on weekends. “I felt like a real painter when I paint with a paintbrush. I have been addicted to Facebook, but I didn’t use my phone throughout Tipsy Art session. I felt as is I could live more slowly,” said a learner at Tipsy Art.

It can be said that Tipsy Art is an interesting place in Nha Trang where people can temporarily forget their affairs and busy schedules, enjoy a relaxing time and enrich their soul.
