8th Provincial Border Defense Force Communist Party Congress opens

The 8th Khanh Hoa Border Defense Force Communist Party Congress, 2020 - 2025 term, officially opened on July 30. Present at the event were Nguyen Khac Dinh, Central Party Committee Member, Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee Secretary; Nguyen Khac Toan, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Chairman of Khanh Hoa People’s Committee; Nguyen Tan Tuan, Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Ha Quoc Tri, Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee; and more than 300 representatives.

 

In the term 2015 – 2020, Khanh Hoa Border Defense Force Communist Party Congress has showed its solidarity and consensus in leadership to fulfill and exceed criteria in the resolution of the 7th Communist Party Congress; promptly provide constancy on border defense policies, preparedness and response plans for the Provincial Committee, People’s Committee, Party Committee and Border Defense Force Headquarter; carry out joint patrols on land and water for marine sovereignty protection; inspect and control over 506,000 vehicles/ 9.6 million people; lead over 15,500 boats with 94,150 crew to shelter from storms; mobilize more than 1,700 vehicles with nearly 10,300 officials and soldiers to protect and rescue locals during storms, etc. Besides, Border Defense Force Communist Party Committee has focused on leading the border defense force to meet the demands for protecting the marine sovereignty and maintaining security in the new situation.

 

 

 

 

In the 2020-2025 term, Border Defense Force Communist Party Committee strives for handling all cases assigned; fulfilling political education and training tasks; assuring 100% of agencies meeting requirements, 100% recognized as strong Party organizations, recruiting 15-20 new Party members, etc.

 

The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the City Communist Party, 2020 - 2025 term, with 14 people and Colonel Nhu Mai Phao, a political commissar of Border Defense Force Communist Party Committee continued to be elected as the Party Committee Secretary.
