12th Cam Ranh City Communist Party Congress opens

The 12th Cam Ranh City Communist Party Congress, 2020 - 2025 term, officially opened on July 16. Nguyen Khac Toan, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Chairman of Khanh Hoa People’s Committee; Nguyen Tan Tuan, Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Ha Quoc Tri, Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee; and 297 representatives of nearly 3,700 Party members in the city attended the event.

 

In the term 2015 - 2020, Cam Ranh City Communist Party Congress made great effort and achieved important improvements in all sectors. The economy continued growing with structure transfer in the right direction; infrastructure improved with a some projects completed and put into use, initially promoting efficiency; culture and society developed; national defense and security were strengthened; the building and reorganization of the Party, building of the political system gradually improved.

 

 

 

 

In the 2020-2025 term, the City Party Committee strives for an annual average production value of 12.7%; export value up by 9% per year on average; total revenue up by 12% on average annually; total social investment in the 5 years up by 55-60%; 6/6 communes meeting the new rural standards; recruiting 760 new Party members, etc.

 

The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the City Communist Party, 2020 - 2025 term, with 41 people.  The Executive Committee of the City Communist Party held its first session and Luong Duc Hai continued to be elected as the city Party Committee Secretary.
