The project on calcium extraction from tuna bones by a high school student in Khanh Hoa Province won the third prize with at the 2019 – 2020 National Scientific & Technical Creation Contest held by the Ministry of Education & Training in Da Nang on June 19-20 for high school students. The project was conducted by Trinh Hoang Long, Nguyen Van Troi High School, Nha Trang City.
This year’s contest received 137 projects in 20 fields by nearly 260 students from 61 educational and training institutions, 1 high school directly under the Ministry of Education & Training and 6 universities, each with 2 projects. Particularly, 4 projects each were from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. 75 projects were awarded prizes, including 11 first, 16 second, 21 third and 27 fourth.
