The International Day for Biological Diversity May 22, 2020 is themed “Our solutions are in nature” by the United Nations, emphasizing the importance of working together to build a future of life in harmony with the nature, the application of nature-based solutions to make positive changes, contributing to the protection of the nature and sustainable bio-diversity growth.
Khanh Hoa is rich in species of flora due to biodiversity with mangrove forests, coral reefs, sea weed, etc. In order to promote biodiversity preservation and its values in a sustainable way, Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee has issued an action plan on bio-diversity protection and biological protection till 2020; enhanced propaganda to raise public awareness of bio-diversity preservation.
