On May 6, Phuong Sai Ward People’s Committee, Nha Trang City reviewed the Rice ATM program taking place at the former location of Le Quy Don Gifted High School.
From April 18, the Rice ATM program, under the management of Phuong Sai Ward People’s Committee, has received much support and donation from individuals to help the needy during the coronavirus pandemic. 43 tons of rice, 7,200 eggs, 100 bottles of cooking oil and 100 bottles of fish sauce were offered to thousands of people.
At the closing ceremony, the leader of Phuong Sai Ward People’s Committee thanked for the donations to help the poor and expressed the hope that they would make greater effort in work to improve their life. The charity program has ended with all remaining rice distributed to the disadvantaged.
