Over 1,670 people applied for unemployment benefits at Khanh Hoa Job Center from April 1-15, reports the leader of Khanh Hoa Job Center.
Most of the applicants were laid off due to COVID-19. All of the applications were assessed meeting regulatory compliances and submitted to the Department of Labor, War Invalids & Social Affairs for consideration and approval.
Besides, under the social distancing order, Khanh Hoa Job Center has transferred from direct transaction to indirect contact with employers and employees via postal service until April 22.
