In response to the Volunteer Saturday campaign, Youth Union affiliations in Khanh Hoa Province have organized several meaningful and practical youth projects.
 
Last weekend, Youth Union members and young people in Van Gia Town, Van Ninh District got involved in practical activities, including lighting up 1km of urban roads, setting up COVID-19 information signs & banners in public places; tidying up, planting trees at Van Gia 3 Primary School;  giving roving propaganda broadcasts of the Government’s Decree No. 100 to raise drivers’ awareness and responsibility for safe driving” Don’t drink and drive”.

In Khanh Vinh District, the youth also joined many activities in response to the Volunteer Saturday. The District Police’s Youth Union organized a working trip to Khanh Dong Commune to provide identity card service; Khanh Hiep Commune Youth Union offered gifts to policy beneficiaries, helped clean up, painted houses and fixed electricity for the homeless old people in the commune.
 
Cao Thi Ngoc Thanh, Secretary of Khanh Vinh District Youth Union says last weekend, 100% of Youth Union affiliations in the district responded to the Volunteer Saturday campaign with many activities such as lighting up rural roads with renewable energy covering 2km roads in Son Thai Commune, contributing to social security and traffic safety in the commune.
 
Cam Lam District Youth Union has organized various activities such as installing 8 hand wash basins at Hung Vuong Junior High School, mobilizing blood donation, collecting 150 units of blood. The district Youth Union affiliations visited and offered gifts to the disadvantaged; and delivered leaflets against Covid-19. 
 
Dien Khanh District Youth Union in cooperation with the Youth Union and the Women’s Association of Khanh Hoa Public Security planted 200 Cassia fistula trees to add natural attraction and delivered 350 face masks to locals in Dien Dien Commune, Dien Khanh District.
 
Cao Nho Tri, Secretary of Cam Ranh City Youth City Youth Union says the city Youth Union delivered 300 breakfast portions with milk to poor patients and local residents. The charity activity was praised by locals.
 
A resident named Tran Kim Thu, Cam Thinh Tay Commune, Cam Ranh City says, “My mum is in hospital. My family is in financial distress. We are so grateful to get free food and I hope such charity work will be organized more in the future."
 
Khanh Hoa Youth Union has launched the volunteer campaign with various practical and meaningful activities, focusing on promoting joint effort in building new rural construction and raising public awareness in a combat against Covid-19. Youth Union affiliations has continued promoting propaganda, delivering leaflets and face masks free of charge to locals. In the Youth Month, young people in Khanh Hoa Province have developed a variety of practical youth projects, contributing to assuring social security, helping the disadvantaged. In the coming time, Khanh Hoa Youth Union will enhance practical activities to promote younger generations’ role in the disease prevention and control, according to Bui Hoai Nam, Secretary of Khanh Hoa Youth Union.
