Tropical Matmo Storm has made landfall on the coasts of Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh and Phu Yen with wind gusting up to level 9 in Ly Son (Quang Ngai), level 10 in An Nhon (Binh Dinh), level 9 in Hoai Nhon (Binh Dinh) and level 8 in Quy Nhon (Binh Dinh).
Matmo Storm eye was at 13.3 °N and 109.9 °W on the coast of Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh and Phu Yen with gust at level 9-10 (75-100 kph) at 8pm on October 30.
Within the next 12 hours, the tropical storm will keep moving west at 15 kph deeper inland in Quang Ngai - Northern Khanh Hoa and then weaken into a tropical depression.
At 7am on October 31, the depression will be at 13.6 °N and 108.5°W on the Central Highlands with gust force estimated at 40-50 kph (level 6). The natural disaster risk is at level 3.
