Communicative skills focused

Foreign languages in general and English in particular are taught at primary to high schools. Communicative skills have been focused based on international standards, the Common European Framework with 6 levels for Vietnamese learners. Some schools have invested in equipment for teaching English. Therefore, the English teaching and learning have gradually improved. The national foreign language project 2018 – 2020 has been developed for gifted classes, grade 6 and 10, at public high schools, bi-lingual teaching for junior high school students and 10th–graders at iSchool Nha Trang School; together with a pilot bi-lingual teaching program for math classes at Le Quy Don Gifted School. Khanh Hoa Department of Education & Training has also built a pilot project to invite English native speakers to teach English at school to improve learners' English communicative proficiency.
