The Vietnam Maritime Rescue Cooperation Center (VNMRCC) brought Georgi Angelov, a 58-year-old Bulgarian sailor, ashore at 11:45 am on October 5 on its rescue ship SAR27-01 to Nha Trang Port for emergency medical aid.

According to Nguyen Xuan Binh, Deputy Director of MRCC Nha Trang, the man suffered from a heart attack when aboard the ship C Dream from Singapore to the Republic of Korea. The captain immediately called for help when the ship was approximately 173 nautical miles off the coast of Nha Trang City.
