Nha Trang on first day of nationwide social distancing

Under the directive of the Prime Minister, Vietnam on April 1 entered the first day of 15-day nationwide social distancing period. In Nha Trang City, almost all people wore masks when travelling on streets. Many shops and restaurants have closed; many have only served takeaway for pick up and home delivery.

Earlier, on March 31 afternoon, Nha Trang took drastic measures to ban mass gatherings at public places, especially the beach along Tran Phu Street and Pham Van Dong Street. Many prohibitory traffic signs and warning signs about swimming ban and suspension of cultural, exercise and sports activities were placed at many beach parks.

At this time, most people in Nha Trang have become more self-disciplined and been more proactive in taking actions to prevent the disease.
