The awarding ceremony for the 2019 Music Contest for People with Disabilities – Central and Highland Region was orgnized at Nha Trang on May 15. Nguyen Tan Tuan, Standing Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Council; leaders of Vietnam Patronizing Association for People with Disabilities and Orphans; leaders of the sponsoring units and businesses.
The contest, organized by Vietnam Patronizing Association for People with Disabilities and Orphans, took place in May 14-15 and featured 33 music performances of 106 contestants from the provinces and cities of Nghe An, Da Nang, Quang Nam, Binh Dinh, Phu Yen, Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan, Binh Thuan, Kon Tum, Gia Lai, and Lam Dong.
At the awarding ceremony, the organization committee gave nine gold medals and 13 silver medals to the most outstanding performances. Khanh Hoa team won two golds and one silver. In team’s category, Nghe An placed first; Da Nang and Khanh Hoa finished second and third respectively. These three teams will represent the central and highland region at the national final round which is slated to take place in Hanoi in June 18-19.
