Am Chua Festival 2019 opens

The Am Chua Festival 2019 opened at Am Chua Monument site (Dien Dien Commune, Dien Khanh District, Khanh Hoa Province) on April 5 (1st of lunar March).
 

The Am Chua Festival 2019 opened at Am Chua Monument site (Dien Dien Commune, Dien Khanh District, Khanh Hoa Province) on April 5 (1st of lunar March).
 
The Am Chua Festival 2019 takes place in three days. This is an occasion for the locals and pilgrims to show their gratitude to the Lady Goddess Thien Y A Na to pray for good things.
 
Around 12,000 people are expected to visit Am Chua Monument during the festival. Among them are over 100 groups of pilgrims across Khanh Hoa and some other surrounding provinces. 
 
Reportedly, the security, food safety and hygiene, hawkers are well supervised at the 2019 Am Chua Festival. 
  
Am Chua Monument is located on Dai An Mountain which is said to be the place where Goddess Thien Y A Na descended on earth and taught the locals to do field works, weave fabric, etc., bringing a peaceful and comfortable life to locals.
