Hon Ro fishing port temporarily closes, Dai Lanh and Vinh Luong ports cut down on receiving fishing vessels 

On July 4, Nguyen Trong Chanh, head of Khanh Hoa Sub-department of Fisheries, said that in in the face of complicated developments of the COVID-19 pandemic in Khanh Hoa, along with informing fishing vessels in the province, the Sub-department has sent an official dispatch directing the General Directorate of Fisheries and the Sub-department of Fisheries of coastal provinces and cities in the country to notify local fishing vessels of the temporary suspension of Hon Ro fishing port (Nha Trang City) until further notice.

Fishing vessels docking in Khanh Hoa’s ports need to adjust their routes to dock at Da Bac fishing port (Cam Ranh City), cutting down on docking at Vinh Luong (Nha Trang City) and Dai Lanh (Van Ninh District) fishing ports, which have been said to be COVID-19 high-risk areas. Fishing vessels returning to the ports in Khanh Hoa must ensure the compliance with the pandemic prevention and control measures.
