With the decline in cargo throughput due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic, Cam Ranh Port Joint Stock Company has put forward many solutions to restore production and business, especially focusing on seeking new customers and markets.

Cam Ranh Port Joint Stock Company set a target of over 3 million tons in cargo throughput by the port in 2020. However, in the first 6 months, the volume of goods through the port only reached over 1.1 million tons, reaching more than 38% of the target. In particular, the two main items wood chips and construction stone for export suffered deep decrease as partners in Japan, Singapore, Bangladesh, etc. are affected by the Covid-19 epidemic.
