Abundant supply
According to the provincial Department of Industry and Trade, currently, the supply of goods in the province is plentiful. Markets, supermarkets, online sales channels, phone sales, etc. meet all needs of the people. The province has a branch of the Southern Central Food Joint Stock Company, 11 supermarkets, 126 markets, and a seafood wholesale market, which have large and abundant stockpiles to meet the demand for goods in any situation.
During the past days, there have been no lacks in goods in supermarkets as markets. Businesses recommend that consumers should not worry and stock in large quantities, just buy enough to use. Supply of goods is continuously replenished by suppliers every day. Especially, supermarkets add more essential goods like meat, vegetables, instant noodles, rice, spices, hand sanitizer, masks, etc.

Ensuring goods in all cases
In order to ensure the supply of essential commodities to cope with the Covid-19 epidemic, the Department of Industry and Trade has made a five-level plan to promptly supply isolated areas. In particular, items such as rice, pork, chicken, eggs, seafood, instant noodle, vegetable, masks and toilet paper are supplied. At the highest level, the province can provide 336 tons of rice, 25.2 tons of pork, 28 tons of chicken, 280,000 eggs, more than 29 tons of seafood and more than 179 tons of vegetables for 14 days.
Tran Van Ngoan - Deputy Director of the provincial Department of Industry and Trade affirmed that, regardless of any situation of Covid-19, basing on the provision, essential goods for people are ensured. Khanh Hoa Province has also planned to promote e-commerce distribution channels and encourage online shopping. “We will work closely with localities, departments, agencies and units to supply goods, regulate goods to places in lack of goods, and stabilize people's lives if the Covid-19 epidemic happens in the province. We will also have close contact with other provinces and cities in order to carry goods from other provinces and cities to Khanh Hoa timely to supply for people in the province,” Ngoan said.
The leadership of the provincial Department of Industry and Trade confirmed that Khanh Hoa had fully prepared scenarios for all situations right after the Prime Minister requested social isolation. Therefore, although Khanh Hoa has a large population and a large demand for goods, the province is confident to be able to provide all the necessary needs for people in the long run.
