Khanh Hoa Province now has three petroleum warehouses with total capacity of 567,600 m3, those are Van Phong petroleum bonded warehouse (in My Giang Hamlet, Ninh Phuoc Commune, Ninh Hoa Town) with 500,000 m3 in capacity, Vinh Nguyen petroleum warehouse (in Vinh Nguyen Ward, Nha Trang City) with 30,000 m3 in capacity of Phu Khanh Petroleum Company, K662 petroleum warehouse (in Ba Ngoi Port, Cam Ranh) with 37,600 m3 in capacity. The three warehouses ensure storage and trading of petroleum for Khanh Hoa Province and neighbouring provinces like Phu Yen, Ninh Thuan, Dak Lak, Dac Nong and Lam Dong.
According to the planning to develop oil storage and petroleum products of Vietnam till 2015 and view to 2035, the provincial Department of Industry and Trade has asked the permission of the Ministry of Industry and Trade to buid two new warehouses, namely Petrolimex Cam Ranh and JetA1 Cam Ranh, and expand Van Phong petroleum bonded warehouse.
