CPI of Khanh Hoa Province rose by 3.34% in 2018

According to Khanh Hoa Province Statistics Office, Consumer Production Index (CPI) of the province in December 2018 decreased by 0.12% over that in previous month and rose by 2.78% year-on-year.

According to Khanh Hoa Province Statistics Office, Consumer Production Index (CPI) of the province in December 2018 decreased by 0.12% over that in previous month and rose by 2.78% year-on-year. Five out of 11 main goods and service groups showed increase in CPI, including dining-out food and services (0.50% up), garment – headwear – footwear (0.04% up), home equipment and appliances (0.11% up), medicine – health services (5.75% up), and post – telecommunication (0.06% up). Three groups with decrease in CPI were housing – electricity – water – fuels – building materials (0.72% down), traffic (5.49% down), and culture – entertainment – tourism (0.29% down).
 
Average CPI of 12 months of 2018 rose by 3.34% over that in 2017. A reason raising CPI in 2018 was the increase in prices of food and foodstuff in end 2018.
