Agribank Khanh Hoa encourages e-tax payment

Agribank – Khanh Hoa Branch is mobilizing tax payers to open account for e-tax payment on Internet banking of the bank to reduce overloading pressure at transaction offices.

Agribank Khanh Hoa is one of bank branches siging cooperation agreement in collecting State revenue with the provincial State Treasure, the provincial Department of Taxation and the provincial Department of Customs. Owning transaction offices the most, Agribank Khanh Hoa have the largest number of receipts as well as transactions in tax collection. 

However, while most of businesses have done e-tax payment, most of individual households still pay tax by cash. The number of transactions by cash at counters has made up more than 89% and risen year by year, but the revenue from them is small, making up 4% - 6% in the total revenue.  But time for all transactions is the same. So, counters have been overloaded.

In 2016, transactions at counters made up 89.65% but the receipts at counters hit only about VND326 billion, making up only 4.84% of VND6,742 billion in total. In 2017, transactions at counters made up 89.18% but the receipts at counters were only VND401 billion, making up only 4.31% of  VND9,302 billion. In the first seven months of 2018, Agribank Khanh Hoa collected nearly VND8,136 billion with more than 105,325 items, mainly in Dien Khanh, Ninh Hoa and Cam Lam.
 
To attract customers to open payment accounts and register e-tax payment service, Agribank has launched individual tax payment on Internet banking to both domestic and export import taxes. Users can pay tax on Internet banking, no need to go to the bank. This not only facilitates tax payers but lessen pressure for the bank. Therefore, Agribank Khanh Hoa is coordinating with tax agencies in mobilizing individuals to open account to pay tax via Internet banking.
