First observatory in Vietnam to opens door to visitors in Sep.

Nha Trang Observatory, the first of its kind in Vietnam, will open to visitors in end September, 2017.

Starting construction since 2014, Nha Trang Observatory, situated in Hon Chong, Nha Trang, is one of the two observatories in the framework of a project by the Vietnam Space Center. The second one is under construction in Hanoi and it is expected to be put into operation in 2018. 
 

 

 
The observatory has a 0.5-metre optical telescope, a 60-seat cosmic projection room and a 200sq.m exhibition room.
 
Nha Trang City will put Nha Trang Observatory into tours as a destination for visitors.
