The commemorative ceremony of the 722nd death anniversary of General Tran Quoc Tuan was held at Tran Hung Dao Temple (Nha Trang City) on September 15 (lunar August 20). The leaderships of Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Culture and Sports and Nha Trang City People’s Committee, and local people attended the ceremony.

The ceremony included traditional ritual acts such as praying for prosperity and peace of the nation and its people. The attendees also recalled the biography and great merit of the general to the country. The life and career of Hung Dao Dai Vuong was associated with the resistance wars against Mongol invasions of Dai Viet people in the 13th century.

General Tran Quoc Tuan passed away in Van Kiep (Hai Duong Province) on August 20, 1300.
