The ceremony took place with traditional rituals such as praying for national peace and security, procession of cars decorated with flowers, and offering incense to the statue of Tran Hung Dao at Bach Dang Park. The attendees also recalled the merit of Great King Tran Quoc Tuan (Tran Hung Dao, born in 1228) and the historical meaning of the third Bach Dang victory over Mongol invaders in the 13th century of Dai Viet (former name of Vietnam) under the leadership of the Great King.
