Awaiting National Television Festival 2019 in Nha Trang

The 39th National Television Festival is going to be organized in Nha Trang City from December 11 to 14. The organization committee has been actively finishing the preparation to produce an impressive and successful festival.

The 2019 National Television Festival is expected to gather around 1,200 journalists, reporters, editors, and those who work in television industry in and outside the country. The major activities of the festival will take place at Khanh Hoa Provincial Conference Center (No.46 Tran Phu Street, Nha Trang). The festival will include numerous activities, such as evaluating the entries, holding international workshops on producing online news and on TV investigative reportages, holding photo exhibition about Vietnam’s television industry.

Vietnam Television (VTV) organizes the national television festival annually in order to create a playground for television workers over the country to meet, exchange, and learn from each other to improve their professional skills. The 2019 edition of the National Television Festival has received 429 entries of different categories, including 132 reportages, 76 one-episode documentaries,  72 scientific and educational programs, 33 ethnic language programs, and many of music film, music show, children’s show, talk show, multi-episode documentary, film, etc.
 
 
The photo contest about television workers has also received more than 150 entries capturing the working activities of television crews sent by the entrants in Vietnam and from abroad. VTV has sent some delegations to Khanh Hoa Province to cooperate with Khanh Hoa Radio and Television (KTV) in carrying out preparations for the festival.
 
 
The host is ready
 
As reported by Le Anh Vu, director of KTV, the radio and television started to prepare for the 39th National Television Festival since being selected to host the event. During four days of the festival, all KTV staff will take part in supporting the festival’s organization committee. Additionally, more than 50 volunteers, who are students, Youth Union members, and other young local people, will offer help to the delegations. The provincial departments and agencies have also contributed in preparing for the festival. KTV has hosted national television festival three times before. Each time hosting the national television festival, the staff of KTV could learn many useful experiences in adapting multimedia trends to develop television.
 
 
KTV has also produced many quality programs and selected the most excellent ones to submit for the 39th National Television Festival. This year, KTV has entries in most of the categories. Some of outstanding submitted entries of KTV are music show “Legend of aloe wood land”, talk show “Tourism 4.0”, reportage “Dark corner”, documentary “Calm river”, scientific and educational program “Vaccine made in Vietnam”, and ethnic language program “Billionaires in highland areas”.
 
 
The national television festival is also a good opportunity for Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa to introduce and promote the typical local culture to the delegations from different parts of the country. The 39th National Television Festival is sponsored by many businesses in Khanh Hoa Province, namely Vinpearl Land Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest, Champa Island, Khanh Hoa Aloe Wood, Long Phu, Hunky Dory Vietnam.
