Improvement in preservation of cultural heritages

The recent cultural activities held recently by Khanh Hoa Province's cultural sector showed its efforts in preserving and promoting the cultural heritages and traditional festivals across the province.
 

The recent cultural activities held recently by Khanh Hoa Province’s cultural sector showed its efforts in preserving and promoting the cultural heritages and traditional festivals across the province.
 
At the beginning of this year, Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Culture and Sports proposed suggestions and cooperated with other provincial departments and many localities across the province to propagandize for the regulations on holding festivals. The units under the sector of culture also built the plans for organizing festivals and ensuring the safety and security during the festivals. The Death Anniversary of Hung Kings, Ponagar Temple Festival, Am Chua Festival, Whale Worshipping Festival, and villages’ festivals were prepared and organized carefully and were in line with the local traditions and customs.
 
According to Le Chi Huong, Director of Khanh Hoa Provincial Museum, in recent months, the museum collected more than 130 objects, filed and labeled more than 500 objects. The museum also cooperated with other units to hold five exhibitions about the beauty of the land of aloe wood, ancient objects and ornamental creatures, etc. These exhibitions introduced the public the objects, material, and photos featuring the culture of Khanh Hoa.  The museum’s activities held during Sea Festival 2019 also drew good response from the public.

Khanh Hoa provincial Monument Conservation Center completed one document of province-level monument; is complementing ten documents of province-level monuments; built and repaired four province-level monumental steles. The center is preparing for the contests to propagandize for cultural heritages at district- and province-level; is in preparation for a publication on the monuments and landscape across the province. 
 
The Cultural Heritage Management Bureau and the provincial Museum and provincial Monument Conservation Center proposed plans to build new provincial Museum and to restore and embellish Dien Khanh Ancient Citadel; carried out the plan for collecting, preserving and displaying the cultural heritages of Raglai, Ê Đê, T’rin ethnic minorities. The propaganda for appropriate activities at the monuments and instructions on restoring monuments were well performed. The temple to nobleman Tran Duong in Van Ninh District is under construction. 
 
As stated by leader of the provincial Department of Culture and Sports, the province’s cultural sector will continue the planned projects, for example the project on preserving and promoting cultural heritage Bài Chòi in 2017-2010 period; and project on typical culture of three ethnic groups of Raglai, Ê Đê, and T’rin. Besides, the cultural sector will implement the plans for repairing and embellish cultural and historic monuments in 2019-2020 period; and strengthen the supervision on activities at the festivals and monuments, etc.
