Attempt to refresh programs of Hai Dang Song and Dance Troupe

After more than one month of preparing new performances and rehearsals, Hai Dang Song and Dance Troupe of Khanh Hoa Province has been ready to stage 12 new song and dance acts which are scheduled for the Lunar New Year occasion and province’s events in 2019.

 

As said by Tran Duc Ha, Deputy Head of Hai Dang Song and Dance Troupe, this time, the troupe generated new ideas for the new performances and used modern music technologies in order to meet the tastes of the audience and the troupe’s customers. The troupe selected upbeat songs and choreographed the dances with new forms of body language and kinetic expression. The troupe will include new and old acts depending on each program.

 

 

Hai Dang Song and Dance Troupe has professionally invested their efforts for arrangements, costumes, and performance skills for the new music acts. Apart from the upbeat performances, the troupe has also prepared lyrical and emotional ones. The performances will be performed by the troupe’s popular artists (Hoai Thuong, Trong Khai, etc.) and new artists (Phuong Linh, Bich Huyen). The troupe’s folk instrumental band playing monochord, 16-chord zither, and bamboo flute has added more uniqueness to the performances. Besides, the scenic beauty of Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa screened on Led screens has also helped to improve the quality of the troupe’s performances.

 

The professional investment for the new music items of Hai Dang Song and Dance Troupe were highly appreciated by stage director Cao Nguyen and song writer Phuong Dong. However, in addition to the good aspects, these items still needed some adjustments to make them more perfect for the significant art events of the province in 2019, according to Le Van Hoa, Deputy Director of Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Culture and Sports.
