Documentary film of Vietnam Television awarded UNICEF Prize at Japan Prize 2018

Japan Prize 2018, the international competition established by Japan's NHK Television in 1965 to recognize excellence in educational television, presented the UNICEF Prize to the documentary film "Sister" of Vietnam Television.
 

Japan Prize 2018, the international competition established by Japan’s NHK Television in 1965 to recognize excellence in educational television, presented the UNICEF Prize to the documentary film “Sister” of Vietnam Television.
 
“Sister” was made by VTV7 of Vietnam as a part of the series “Baby on the Way” initiated by EBS Television of South Korea.

Japan Prize 2018 included one Grand Prix Prize; five prizes for five best works in Pre-school Category, Primary Category, Primary Category, Youth Category, Lifelong Learning Category, and creative Frontier Category; two special prizes (The Japan Foundation President’s Prize, The UNICEF Prize).
 
The prize winners of the Japan Prize 2018 were the works of United Kingdom, Australia, Netherlands, Denmark, France, and Vietnam.
